Bars To Go Training Institute welcomes applications from candidates that meet the minimum requirements for entry into our programmes.

Applicants wishing to participate in our programmes must be 16 years or older.

Applicants must sit a diagnostic test, set at the grade-nine level, to determine their literacy.

N.B. Applicants with at least one (1) pass at the CXC or GCE level are exempt from the entrance test; however, proof of qualification is required before exemption is granted. Equivalent qualifications may also be presented for consideration by the school.

Application forms must be completed and returned to Bars To Go training Institute.

Applications must be accompanied by two (2) passport size photographs; originals of qualifying documents (e.g. CXC certification) or applicants can do the Bars To Go Training Institute Entrance Test; TRN and  Food Handlers Permit. 

Conditions Of Enrollment (Summary)

• All applicants are expected to complete registration for courses at least two (2) weeks prior to their commencement.  Late registration will be permitted up to two weeks after commencement of each course.
 

• Registration is completed when all requirements are fulfilled.
 

• Late Registration will be permitted up to two weeks after commencement. Registration after this period may only be permitted at the discretion of the Training Institute Administrator.
 

• A non-refundable registration fee of J$1,500.00 which covers students' ID must accompany the duly completed application form, obtainable at our main office 5 Central Road, Suite # 2, Kingston 10 or online
 

• Participants/companies may cancel their enrollment at no penalty provided that Bars To Go Training Institute is notified no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course.
 

• For cancellations thereafter, or if the student withdraws after instructions has begun, see Refund Policy for details.
 

• The Institute reserves the right to withdraw/postpone a scheduled course if the registration is insufficient for a complete class. In this event, Bars To Go Training Institute will refund all fees already paid towards the withdrawn course.
 

• Payments can be made by cash and manager's cheque only.
 

• Payment Plan: Students have the option of paying their fees in installment if they are unable to pay in full prior to the start of their course. Persons who wish to use this option must contact the administrator for details.  A 10% processing fee will be applied for this option. Installments paid after the 1st of each month will attract a late fee of $1,000.
 

• Manager's cheques should be made payable to BARS TO GO TRAINING INSTITUTE. Receipts noting courses will be issued to each company/participant.
